Abdulbasit Bashir is a young leader recognized for his pioneering work in sustainable energy and social entrepreneurship. He studiedElectronics and Telecommunications at Kaduna Polytechnics and went on to establish Revnics Energy in Nigeria, a social enterprise that collects and recycles e-waste to develop innovative solar-powered generators, portable energy solutions, and solar lighting systems.
Through his venture, Bashir not only provides affordable and eco-friendly solutions to communities with limited access to electricity, but also contributes to environmental protection by preventing approximately 2.1 kg of waste from entering landfills and reducing 0.9 kg of carbon emissions with each product. His work uniquely combines environmental and social impact, positioning him as a strong advocate in the fight against climate change and energy inequity across Africa.
