Adam Baruchowitz is an entrepreneur and circular economy leader with more than 20 years of experience building companies at the intersection of sustainability, textiles, and consumer engagement. He is the Founder of Wearable Collections, New York City’s leading clothing recycling network, and the Co-Founder & CRO of Return to Vendor (RTV), an ingredient-platform company pioneering closed-loop solutions with regenerated Nylon-6.

At Wearable Collections, Adam developed one of the most successful urban textile diversion programs in the U.S., responsible for collecting and redirecting over 35 million pounds of post-consumer clothing through a network of residential bins, greenmarkets, and home pickup services. His work helped make textile recycling accessible to millions of New Yorkers and set a model for other cities grappling with clothing waste.

Building on this foundation, Adam launched Return to Vendor (RTV) to address the material challenges of the fashion and textile industries. RTV enables brands to design and manufacture high-performance products using monomaterial, endlessly recyclable Nylon-6—supported by a science-driven R&D lab, a North American supply chain of recyclers, mills, and converters, and integrated take-back logistics. Backed by leading venture investors, including Khosla Ventures, RTV is advancing “Circularity-as-a-Service” to help brands comply with emerging legislation while unlocking new revenue streams through sustainable design.

Adam is recognized for his ability to bridge science, supply chains, and storytelling. He has worked with global brands across fashion, healthcare, industrial, and lifestyle sectors to integrate circularity into core business models.
