Christian Mensah serves as the Secretary to the Governing Council and Chief of Inter-Governmental Relations at UNHabitat. In this role, he coordinates the interactions between UNHabitat’s governing body and governments, as well as other key international stakeholders .

Based at UNHabitat’s headquarters in Nairobi, he manages council secretariat functions and facilitates communication and collaboration between UN member states and internal UN-Habitat units
