David Rogers is an experienced leader inglobal sustainability, resource efficiency, and the circular economy. Sincejoining WRAP in 2009, he has played a central role in shaping sustainableproduct policies and international programmes. Previously heading WRAP’sSustainable Products division, he led initiatives such as SCAP (SustainableClothing Action Plan), ECAP (European Clothing Action Plan), and theElectricals Sustainability Action Plan, all designed to drive resourceefficiency in textiles, fashion, and consumer electronics.
Rogers has also spearheaded internationalfood waste prevention efforts, working with UN Environment, the World ResourcesInstitute, and other global stakeholders across Europe, Asia, North America,and the Middle East. His strategies focus on behaviour change, reuse, andrecycling, fully aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Actively driving WRAP’s global expansion,Rogers has managed projects across Europe, North and Latin America, Australia,Africa, and Asia. He has been instrumental in developing internationalvoluntary agreement models on food, plastics, and textiles, which are nowwidely adopted by governments and businesses as reference frameworks forsustainable practices.
