David Rogers is an experienced leader in global sustainability, resource efficiency, and the circular economy. Since joining WRAP in 2009, he has played a central role in shaping sustainable product policies and international programmes. Previously heading WRAP’sSustainable Products division, he led initiatives such as SCAP (SustainableClothing Action Plan), ECAP (European Clothing Action Plan), and the Electrical Sustainability Action Plan, all designed to drive resource efficiency in textiles, fashion, and consumer electronics.
Rogers has also spearheaded international food waste prevention efforts, working with UN Environment, the World ResourcesInstitute, and other global stakeholders across Europe, Asia, North America, and the Middle East. His strategies focus on behaviour change, reuse, and recycling, fully aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Actively driving WRAP’s global expansion,Rogers has managed projects across Europe, North and Latin America, Australia, Africa, and Asia. He has been instrumental in developing international voluntary agreement models on food, plastics, and textiles, which are now widely adopted by governments and businesses as reference frameworks for sustainable practices.
