Natavan Ahmadova

With over 13 years of international experience, Natavan Ahmadova is a seasoned finance and risk professional, holding FCCA qualification and a strong track record in leading transformation initiatives across public and private sectors. Her expertise spans financial controlling, internal audit, statutory reporting (IFRS/US GAAP), treasury, compliance, and ESG integration.

Currently serving as Chief Transformation Officer at Tamiz Shahar OJSC and as Head of the Utilities Division at Azerbaijan Investment Holding, Natavan plays a pivotal role in shaping governance, financial reporting, and risk management frameworks for major national utilities and infrastructure assets.

Prior to her current roles, Natavan held senior positions at LeasePlan Corporation in Amsterdam, where she led global internal audits, and at KPMG in both the Netherlands and Azerbaijan, managing complex audit engagements across various industries. She has a deep understanding of financial systems implementation, including SAP, and has led cross-border teams in building internal control environments aligned with international best practices.

Natavan holds an MSc in Banking and Finance from the University of Newcastle (UK), and a BSc in Accounting and Finance from Azerbaijan State Economic University. She is fluent in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian.
