Sebastian Arango Uribe serves as the CEO of Conecta Ambiental, a company dedicated to environmental management and sustainability solutions. In this role, he is responsible for defining the organization’s strategic vision, implementing innovative practices for the preservation of natural resources, and leading the development of business models aligned with the principles of the circular economy.

Since 2020, Mr. Arango Uribe has also been an entrepreneur and project manager, with a primary focus on organic waste treatment. He is a recognized innovator in developing new methodologies and management processes, as well as a pioneer in the technology sector. He has led the way in integrating technologies such as Web3 and AI (artificial intelligence) into business models related to logistics, waste treatment, and the improvement of products derived from organic waste.

Throughout his career, Mr. Arango Uribe has gained extensive experience in environmental engineering, sustainable development, and waste management. He has led numerous projects in collaboration with public institutions, the private sector, and civil society. His current work on the treatment of organic waste using black soldier fly larvae has been a pioneering initiative in Colombia. This project is notable for its logistical impact and its potential for scalability across different regions of Colombia and Latin America, leveraging a significant technological component with Web3 and AI.
