Through innovative insect agriculture, Legendary Foods transforms palm larva into a highly nutritious, versatile, and climate-friendly protein source—making high-quality nutrition more accessible while creating jobs and reducing food system waste.
Previously, Shobhita co-founded Aspire Food Group, the global leader in cricket production for human and pet nutrition, a Hult Prize winner. Her work in alternative proteins has been recognized worldwide, earning her honors such as Forbes 30 Under 30 (Social Enterprise) and SANKALP Social Entrepreneur of the Year.
She holds a BSc in Psychology and a joint master’s degree in Law and Business (BCL/LLB/MBA) from McGill University, where she was recognized as a Top Impact Maker.
