Valentin Fournel is a graduate of AgroParisTech and joined Citeo in 2015 after eight years in innovation and new market development consulting, including 3 years developing Alcimed's business in the United States. Initially Director of Corporate Relations, he broadened his responsibilities by supporting the development of the eco-design and research and development (R&D) teams of Citeo.

Since 2022,  Valentin is a member of the Citeo Executive Committee and is heading the Innovation, Eco-design & Reuse team, which helps companies to reduce the environmental impact of their product through the reduction of their packaging and the development of reuse solutions in France. He helps companies in their environmental transition, from raising awareness of ecological issues to implementing the necessary changes.

His expertise helps create a favourable ecosystem for reducing the ecological footprint of our consumption. Valentin also works closely with the International Team at Citeo to accompany various countries worldwide in shaping their EPR schemes to make them efficient in reducing plastic pollution.
