Christina Jäger co-founded the Yunus Environment Hub (YEH) alongside Nobel Peace Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus and Creative Advisor Hans Reitz, building a global network that develops social business solutions to address the climate crisis and environmental challenges. YEH provides expertise across waste and plastic management, circular economy, carbon neutrality, biodiversity, reforestation, sustainable agriculture, clean energy, and access to safe water .
She serves as a member of the Commission on Sustainable Business, Trade and Finance at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and co-chairs the Ministry’s PREVENT Waste Alliance. Since 2015, she has been part of the BMW Foundation Responsible Leaders Networkand was awarded the KfW Foundation Social Impact Scholarship in 2016 .
In addition, Christina Jäger founded Circular Economy Rhein-Main and The Plastic Lab in 2016, followed by Colombia Circular in 2019. These initiatives aim to promote circular economy practices in the Rhein-Main region and Colombia, while The Plastic Lab develops innovative solutions to prevent plastics from leaking into nature.
