Gabriel Andrés Vannelli, Lic., is an Argentine-Italian professional with extensive experience in environmental management, circular economy, and sustainability policy design. He currently serves as Director of Environment at the Municipality of Vicente López, where he leads initiatives such as the “Green Day” program, “Sustainable Schools,” and the Municipal Climate Action Plan. Throughout his career, he has worked in both the public and private sectors, driving projects on energy efficiency, sustainable mobility, and integrated waste management. He holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management (ITBA) and has actively participated as a speaker and attendee in numerous national and international events, including COP27 in Egypt, COP28 in Dubai, New York Climate Week 2024, C40 Buenos Aires, and the EUVP program in the European Union. He has also been a speaker at the International Climate Summit, the 5th Circular Economy Summit in Córdoba, the 7th National Assembly of Mayors RAMCC in Mendoza, the International “Network of Networks” Meeting in Costa Rica, and forums such as “Cities for Climate” in Rosario. In addition, he organized and presented at Circular Economy conferences alongside Siglo 21 University and Fundación Regenerar. His career is distinguished by the development of strategies for local climate action, public-private collaboration, and the promotion of circular and sustainable models in cities.
