João Cristóvão Munguambe serves as the Councillor for Infrastructure and Health in the Maputo Municipal Council, Mozambique. He was officially appointed to the position in February 2024 as part of Mayor Rasaque Manhique’s new administration, which emphasized transparency, anti-corruption measures, and the improvement of urban services. In his role, Munguambe oversees key sectors such as urban infrastructure, sanitation, and public health.
